FORT MADISON – The Fort Madison YMCA is looking for parrotheads to help solve a mystery.
On Friday May, 18th beginning at 7 p.m., the YMCA will be holding its first-ever YMCA Murder in Margaritaland at the Comfort Inn and Suites.
Guest are encouraged to put on their best Hawaiian garb and leis and then not ‘waste away’ as a murder unfolds from the get-go. After the perp is cuffed and stuffed, the party is invited to “kill it” on the dance floor.
Tickets are available at the YMCA at 220 26th Street in Fort Madison, by calling 319-372-2403 or by private message to the YMCA’s facebook page at Fort Madison YMCA.
All proceeds will help support the Fort Madison Family YMCA and donations are tax deductible.
Sponsorships are still being sought for the evening with the top level being a Premier Parrothead at $2,500, LandSharks at $1,000, Toes in the Sand, $500 and a Balloon sponsor at $250.
The Premier Parrothead sponsorship includes sponsor logo at the event and through all marketing materials, eight tickets to the event, two reserved high-top tables and eight signature drinks. LandShark would include marketing, four tickets to the event and four signature drinks. Toes in the Sand includes marketing and two tickets to the event and the Balloon Sponsor includes two tickets to a Jimmy Buffet concert in Des Moines and sponsors the Grand Prize for the Balloon Contest.
Sponsorship payments are due by April 30.
