Lee County Conservation hosting Director's hike Friday

MONTROSE - Lee County Conservation is hosting a Director’s Hike this Friday, April 6th at Turkey Run Wildlife Area starting 9:00 a.m. Turkey Run Wildlife Area is located in the southwest corner of the county at 2787 Belfast Rd., Farmington.

The hike will be led by Lee County Conservation’s Director, Nathan Unsworth. The Director Hikes are designed to be a way for people to get out and learn about the variety of areas owned by Lee County Conservation.

During this hike, attendees will explore Turkey Run Wildlife Area and learn more about the unique area. The hike will be relaxing, social, and most importantly fun! Attendees are encourage to dress for the weather and be prepared for some possible off-trail exploration.

The event will be canceled if there is inclement weather. All weather-related cancellations will be made on the Lee County Conservation's Facebook page.
