Fort Madison Police Report

04/06/18 - 11:32 a.m. - Fort Madison Police responded to a report of property damage accident at the intersection of Avenue L and 25th Street.

04/07/18 - 2:02 a.m. - Fort Madison Police arrested William Earl Jones, 52, of Fort Madison at the intersection of 32nd Street and Avenue L, on charges of OWI-2nd offense and interference with official acts. He was taken to Lee County Jail.

04/07/18 - 9:09 a.m. - Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a gas drive off in the 1700 block of Avenue H.

04/07/18 - 12:53 p.m. - Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a shoplifter in the 4800 block of Avenue O.

04/08/18 - 7:16 a.m. - Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a larceny/theft in the 4800 block of Avenue O.

04/08/18 - 7:39 a.m. - Fort Madison Police arrested Ray Williams Jr., 52, of Quincy, Ill., in the 4800 block of Avenue O, on a charge of 5th degree theft. He was released with a court date.

04/08/18 - 7:39 a.m. - Fort Madison Police arrested Breann Nicole Johanningmeister, 27, in the 4800 block of Avenue O, on a charge of 4th degree theft. She was released with a court date.

04/08/18 - 7:23 p.m. - Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a vandalism in the 400 block of 24th Street.

04/09/18 - 6:22 a.m. - Fort Madison Police arrested a 14-year-old male juvenile in the 1100 block of Avenue E, on a charges of assault, interference with officials acts and assault on a police officer. He was released into the custody of a guardian.

Lee County Sheriff's Report

04/06/18 - 10:37 a.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested Jacob Anthony Haage, 24, of Montrose at the Lee County Jail on a charge of being a fugitive from justice. He was held at the jail.

04/06/18 - 6:33 p.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested Jason Tod Willits, 27, of Fort Madison in the 5400 block of Avenue O, on a warrant for failure to appear. He was taken to Lee County Jail and released on his own recognizance.

04/06/18 - 9:15 p.m - Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested Billie Jo McKeown, 43, of Donnellson, in the 2100 block of 255th Street Donnellson, on a charge of domestic abuse assault. She was taken to Lee County Jail and released on bond.

04/06/18 - 9:15 p.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested Michael Paul Brown, 29, of Donnellson, in the 2100 block of 255th Street Donnellson, on a warrant for 2nd degree theft between $1,000 and $10,000. He was taken to Lee County Jail and released on a pre-trial release.

04/08/18 - 4:37 a.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested William Earl Jones, 52, of Fort Madison at the sheriff's office on a charge of interference with corrections officers - assault. He was taken to Lee County Jail and then released after posting bond.

04/08/18 - 1:57 p.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested Garry Franklin Farmer, 45, of Donnellson, in the 2300 block of 220th Street in Donnellson on warrants for possession of a controlled substance and failure to appear. He was taken to the Lee County Jail and then released after posting bond.

04/08/18 - 2:10 p.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested Nicholas Raymond Kennedy, 40, of Cedar Rapids, at the Linn County Jail on two warrants for failure to appear and two warrants for fifth-degree theft. He was held in custody.

04/08/18 - 8:15 p.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies responded to a one-vehicle accident on Hwy. 27 where a vehicle driven by Charles K. Gadza, 32 of Hunstville, Ala., lost control and entered the east ditch. No injuries or citations were reported at the scene.

04/08/18 - 10:21 p.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested Nicholas Walter Cassimore, 21, of Donnellson, in the 200 block of Madison Avenue in Donnellson, on a charge of assault with injury. He was taken to Lee County Jail and held.

Those listed above should be presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty in a court of law.
