Fort Madison Police Report

04/11/18 - 1:28 p.m. - Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a property damage accident at the intersection of 20th Street and Avenue L.

04/11/18 - 6:44 p.m. - Fort Madison Police responded to a report of vandalism in the 400 block of 23rd Street.

04/11/18 - 8:38 p.m. - Fort Madison Police responded to a report of larceny/theft in the 1500 block of Avenue E.

04/12/18 - 8:05 a.m. - Fort Madison Police responded to a hit-and-run in the 3300 block of Avenue L.

04/12/18 - 8:45 a.m. - Fort Madison Police cited Malik Hausan Trotter, 22, of Fort Madison in the 3200 block of Avenue H for driving under suspension. He was released upon citation.

04/12/18 - 5:00 p.m. - Fort Madison Police cited Michelle Lynn Leffler, 38, of Fort Madison in the 1900 block of Avenue G, on a charge of animal running at large. She was released upon citation.

04/12/18 - 10:00 p.m. - Fort Madison Police responded to a report of vandalism in the 500 block of Ninth Street.

04/13/18 - 1:18 a.m. - Fort Madison police arrested John Allen Scott, 40, of Fort Madison in the 1900 block of Avenue O, on a charges of driving while barred, a warrant for failure to appear, and a warrant for failure to pay costs. He was taken to the Lee County Jail and held.

04/13/18 - 5:12 a.m. - Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a stolen vehicle in the 700 block of 13th Street.

Lee County Sheriff's Report

04/11/18 - 9:32 p.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested Shawnie Michelle Short, 18, of Keokuk at the sheriff's office on a warrant for failure to appear. She was taken to the Lee County Jail and held.

04/12/18 - 9:45 p.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested Abigail Lynn Boyd, 21, of Burlington at the intersection of 140th Avenue and West Point Road in West Point on charges of driving while barred and failure to yield to emergency vehicles. She was taken to the Lee County Jail and released on a promise to appear.

04/13/18 - 7:40 a.m - Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested Mary Kay Stark, 50, of Keokuk, at the sheriff's office a court-ordered hold. She was taken to the Lee County Jail.
