WEST POINT - The West Point Public library will be holding upcoming kids programs on the next two Wednesdays in April.

The first program, Wednesday at 2:30 p.m., the library will celebrate Earth Day looking at 60 Years of Earth Observations with NASA. The program is open to all upper elementary-middle school students. Early elementary students can attend with parent/caregiver. All activities will be centered around cloud observations. Kids will learn the names of different clouds, how to make accurate observations, and participate in a Cloud Teller activity, as well as learn how to become Citizen Scientists as part of NASA's GLOBE Observer program. This is a program that allows you to photograph clouds and record sky observations and compare them with NASA satellite images.
