Central Lee’s Moeller takes Lee County Golf tourney

FORT MADISON – Central Lee’s Isaac Moeller was medalist at the Lee County Golf Tournament highlighting area high school golf on Tuesday.
Moeller shot a 76 to edge teammate Aaron Wills who carded a 77 for runner-up medalist honors at Sheaffer Memorial Golf Course.
Tommy Wade led FMHS with an 83, followed by Tyler O’Tool with an 87 and Brandon Keester with a 90.
Holy Trinity Catholic was led by Cole and Collin Thornton who shot 85 and 90 respectively.
Keokuk was paced by Alex Wolter’s 96.
Central Lee won the event shooting a 312, followed by Fort Madison High School with a 353. Holy Trinity took third with a 366 and Keokuk finished last with a 414.
