Fort Madison Police report

04/26/18 - 1:24 p.m. - Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a larceny/theft in the 700 block of 9th Street, reported at the police department.

04/26/18 - 1:43 p.m. - Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a larceny/theft in the 3000 block of Avenue N.

04/26/18 - 3:54 p.m. - Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a hit and run in the 900 block of Avenue H.

04/26/18 - 4:25 p.m. - Fort Madison Police cited John Robert Wilver, III, 48, of Fort Madison in the 1700 block of Avenue I for no vehicle insurance. He was released upon citation.

04/26/18 - 6:15 p.m. - Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a property damage accident in the 1100 block of 24th Street.

04/26/18 - 6:15 p.m. - Fort Madison Police arrested Paul Douglas Bowen, 33, of Fort Madison in the 2300 block of Avenue L, on charges of OWI-1st offense, driving while barred, no insurance, leaving the scene of an accident, and following to closely. He was taken to Lee County Jail and held.

04/26/18 - 6:18 p.m. - Fort Madison Police arrested Mathew Rohan Boon, 32, of Fort Madison in the 400 block of Avenue A, on charges of 3rd degree burglary, possession of a controlled substance - methamphetamine. He was taken to the Lee County Jail and held.

04/26/18 - 6:18 p.m. - Fort Madison Police arrested Tracy Lynn Meyers, 50, of Fort Madison in the 400 block of Avenue A on a warrant for failure to appear. He was taken to the Lee County Jail and held.

04/26/18 - 8:43 p.m. - Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a hit and run in the 1200 block of Avenue H.

04/27/18 - 2:00 p.m. - Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a property damage accident at the intersection of 17th Street and Avenue H.

04/27/18 - 2:00 p.m. - Fort Madison Police cited Matthew Scott Stephenson, 43, of Fort Madison in the 1700 block of Avenue H for no insurance, driving under suspension and failure to yield a left turn. He was released upon citation.

04/27/18 - 3:26 p.m. - Fort Madison Police responded to a report of vandalism on Storms Ct.

04/27/18 - 4:27 p.m. - Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a hit and run in the 2600 block of Avenue L.

04/29/18 - 1:59 a.m. - Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a burglary in the 300 block of 23rd Street.

04/29/18 - 1:30 p.m. - Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a larceny/theft in the 2600 block of Avenue J.

04/29/18 - 8:33 p.m. - Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a burglary in the 1500 block Avenue H.

Lee County Sheriff's Report

04/26/18 8:15 a.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested Nathan Allen Goins, 23, of Burlington at the Lee County Jail on a charge of simple assault. He was held in custody,

04/26/18 - 11:53 a.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested Logan David Bode, 29, of Keokuk, at the sheriff's office on a charge of being a fugitive from justice. He was taken to the Lee County Jail and held.

04/27/18 - 6:35 a.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested Jacob Anthony Haage, 24 of Montrose, at the sheriff's office on a temporary hold. He was taken to the Lee County Jail and held.

04/27/18 - 4:29 p.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested Rion William Donlan, 35, of Burlington at the sheriff's office on a warrant for failure to appear. He was taken to the Lee County Jail and held.

04/29/18 - 2:00 a.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested Jason Michael Dye, 39, of Keokuk in the 600 block of Fulton Street alley, on a warrant for failure to appear. He was taken to the Lee County Jail and released on a promise to appear.

04/29/18 - 9:42 a.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies responded to a one-vehicle accident on U.S. Hwy. 61 heading north. A vehicle driven by Mykayla Rae Watznauer, 17, lost control heading north and entered the left shoulder before sliding back across the road and rolling several times. Watznauer was taken by EMS to an area hospital. She was cited for failure to maintain control.

04/30/18 - 1:46 a.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested Daniel Wayne Summers, 52, of Keokuk, in the 500 block Johnson Street on a warrant for violation of parole and a charge of possession of a controlled substance. He was taken to the Lee County Jail and held.
