FORT MADISON - Municipal Connections is hosting the final community meeting for residents to learn more about the new solid waste cart program that will start in the City of Fort Madison on July 2, 2018.

This meeting will offer the opportunity for residents to know more about the program, including what type of carts that will be delivered, how to request a 95-gallon cart, and to ask questions they may have on the new program. The meeting is held on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at 10:30 am at the Fort Madison Public Library, which is located at 1920 Avenue E.

Starting on May 11 – May 14th, residents will be receiving a postcard in their mailbox for how to register for a 95-gallon cart, if they want one. Residents can either mail back the postcard or can go online and enter a special code on their postcard to register for the 95-gallon cart. If you would like a 65-gallon cart there is no need to register.

Visit www.fortmadison-ia.com or Facebook for updates on delivery schedule, video on the new solid waste carts, and information.
