BY PCC STAFF FORT MADISON - On Tuesday, May 8th Rocky the Recycler paid a visit to Central Lee Elementary School. Rocky gave presentations to approximately 170 students from pre-school to kindergarten.
The students learned about the Three Rs - Reduce, Reuse, andRecycleand participated in an exercise wherethe studentsidentified whichmaterials belonged in the recycle bin or in the trash bin. It was a great experience for the students and for the teachers. They all came away with a lot ofknowledge on how they can implement the Three Rs in their daily lives and help keep our community clean and healthy.
