FAIRFIELD - The Fort Madison boys soccer team was shut out Thursday night by Fairfield 10-0 with the game-ending goal coming at the 18-minute mark in the second half.
The Trojans scored five goals in each half. Javier Trejo tended goal in the first half and had four saves. Carson Donaldson had four saves in the second half before the 10th goal.
The Hounds fall to 3-9 overall and 2-6 in the Southeast Conference and played at Burlington Friday night.
FMHS also lost the junior varsity game 7-1 with the lone goal coming from Will Larson on an assist by Gage Fullenkamp. Chance Decker had three saves. Fairfield scored four goals in the first half and three in the second half.
