05/08/18 – 9:35 a.m. – Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a larceny/theft in the 3400 block of Avenue L.

05/08/18 – 10:47 a.m. – Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a property damage accident in the 2600 block of Avenue L.

05/08/18 – 2:39 p.m. – Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a larceny/theft in the 1500 block of 18th Street.

05/08/18 – 5:33 p.m. – Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a larceny/theft in the 2300 block of Avenue L.

05/08/18 – 9:32 p.m. – Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a burglary on Richards Drive.

05/09/18 – 9:59 a.m. – Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a larceny/theft in the 700 block of 13th Street.

05/09/18 – 10:40 a.m. – Fort Madison Police responded to a report of vandalism in the 1200 block of Avenue F.

05/09/18 – 3:38 p.m. – Fort Madison Police arrested Jonathan Michael Jones, 43, no address provided, at the police department, on a warrant for 2nd-degree theft, possession of firearm by a felon and child endangerment. He was taken into custody.

05/10/18 – 8:45 a.m. – Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a vandalism in the 1700 block of Avenue L.

05/10/18 – 12:29 p.m. – Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a larceny/theft in the 1900 block of Avenue H.

05/10/18 – 1:45 p.m. – Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a larceny/theft in the 6100 block of Reve Court.

05/10/18 – 4:02 p.m. – Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a stolen bicycle in the 1400 block of Avenue G.

05/10/18 – 4:13 p.m. – Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a property damage accident in the 1300 block of Avenue G.

05/10/18 – 5:12 p.m. – Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a property damage accident in the 2000 block of 303rd Avenue.

05/11/18 – 7:15 a.m. – Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a hit and run in the 1400 block Avenue D.

Lee County Sheriff’s report

05/08/18 – 10:50 a.m. – Lee County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Andrew Shayne Kelly, 32, of Keokuk, at the sheriff’s office, on a warrant for contempt of court. He was taken to the Lee County Jail and released on his recognizance.

05/11/18 – 2:11 p.m. – Lee County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a two-vehicle accident in the vicinity of 200th Street and Hwy. 218. A vehicle driven by Robert Dieterich Grelk, 66, of Houghton was struck in the real wheel of his trailer by a vehicle described as maroon Ford Ranger that fled the scene. No injuries or citations were issued at the scene.

05/09/18 – 3:43 p.m. – Lee County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Michael David Sheets, 40, of Fort Madison, at the sheriff’s office on a warrant for a controlled substance violation. He was taken to the Lee County Jail and held.

05/09/18 – 9:04 p.m. – Lee County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Kenneth Louis Howell, 56, of Keokuk in the 100 block of Concert Street, on a warrant for failure to appear. He was taken to the Lee County Jail and then released on bond.

05/09/18 – 10:09 p.m. – Lee County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Dustin Leon Boone, 31, of Mt. Pleasant at the Henry/Lee county line on a warrant for violaion of probation. He was taken to the Lee County Jail and held.

05/10/18 – 5:12 p.m. – Lee County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a two-vehicle accident on 303rd Avenue. A vehicle driven by Roger Kent Fulton, 77, of New London was northbound on 303rd Avenue reportedly sideswiped by a vehicle driven by Kylie Sue Grogan, 19, of Miles, which was headed south on 303rd. Grogan was cited for failure to maintain control and failure to provide insurance. No injuries were reported.

05/10/18 – 9:03 – Fort Madison Police cited Odalis Elaine Zamudio, 19, of Washington, in the 600 block of Avenue H on a charge of driving under suspension. She was released upon citation.
