KEOKUK - The Holy Trinity girls soccer team is ending the season on an uptick winning four of their last five including a 6-2 win over Keokuk Monday night.

Elle Rashid and Taylor Boeding had two goals on the night, with senior Maya Rashid adding a goal and Taylor Crabtree finding the back of the net. Claire and Elyse Pothitakis each had two assists and Maya Rashid and Emily Box each had an assist.

Head Coach Michael Sheerin said Boeding had a great game running at Keokuk's backline and creating all sorts of problems for the Chiefs, while the attacks of Box and Madison Mohrfeld kept Keokuk busy.

"Emily Box and 'Malibu' Mohrfeld led some great attacks out of the back to keep Keokuk pinned in for most of the match with their keeper recording 25 saves on the night," Sheerin said.

Elle Rashid and Sam Pothitakis were named HTC's players of the game.

The Crusaders go to Mid Prairie on Thursday and end regular play with districts at South Park against Columbus Junction on Tuesday.
