Nina Mae Sparenberg, age 71 of rural Denmark passed away on Sunday, May 20, 2018 in Tennessee.

She was born on March 8, 1947 in Lincoln County, Oregon to Harold Johanson and Edna LaDuke Taylor. Nine married E.J. Sparenberg on February 14, 1984 in Cleveland, TN and he passed away on December 7, 2017. Nina enjoyed being outdoors and doing yardwork. She also liked needle point, cross stitch, playing Facebook games and genealogy. Most of all she loved her family and spending time with them.

Survivors include four sons, Gary Orr of TN, Raymond (Michelle) Allbright of TN, Joseph (Victoria) Williams of NM, and Victor (Mitzi) Odom of TN; one daughter, Lorlinda (Charles) Williams of FL; eleven grandchildren; four brothers, Allen (Lilo) Johansen, Daniel (Daniel) Johansen, Jack Johansen, Leonard (Lynn) Greenlee; two sisters, Edith (Kent) Wilson and Penny (Doug) Breedlove.

She was preceded by her parents, husband, E.J., brother, Wayman, sister, Debbie and a grandson, Jake Little.

A joint graveside service for Nina and E.J. will be held on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at 1 PM at Denmark Cemetery. King-Lynk Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of the arrangements and online condolences may be left at www.kinglynk.com
