James Charles “Jim” Wynn, 81 years, of Fort Madison, Iowa died at 8:06 am Friday, May 25, 2018 at the Montrose Health Center, Montrose, Iowa. He was born March 24, 1937 in Alabama, a son of Clarence E Sr. and Icy Mildred (Hogan) Wynn. He married Patricia “Pat” Snead, his wife of 50 years.

Jim was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, serving during the Korean War. He was an IBEW apprentice for four years and became a journeyman electrician. He enjoyed growing orchids, his flower gardens, fishing, Nascar, and was an avid reader of Tom Clancy novels.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Wynn, of Fort Madison; two sons, Steven Click of Fort Madison and Christian Wynn of Ashland, Missouri; one brother Clarence E Wynn Jr of Alabama; two sisters, Ann Hendershott and Betty Sobienski, both of Alabama; four grandchildren: Jessie Click, Sara Wynn, Daniel Bauswell; and Kristina Wynn; and two great grandsons. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Harry Wynn, and one son James Click.
