FMHS boys shut out in season finale

FORT MADISON - The Fort Madison Bloodhound boys soccer team finished its season 4-13 after a 7-0 shutout at the hands of Clear Creek Amana last Monday night in boys high school district action..
Senior Carson Donaldson has 12 saves on the night.
Junior Brody Rung had the only two shots on goal for the night for the Hounds.
On the season Rung led the Hounds with 10 goals on 71 shots, 37 of which were inside the box, followed by junior AJ Nolting with eight goals. Sophomore Austin Sexton had seven goals and Reuben Eid had two. Freshman Will Larson, and juniors Kelly Russell and Miguel Trejo each found the net once for FMHS. Trejo led the Hounds with six assists on the season followed by Eid with five and junior Justin Bowker with four.
Donaldson and Javier Trejo split time at goalkeeper with Trejo leading the way with 94 saves. Donaldson had 78.
The Hounds were 2-6 in the Southeast Conference.
