Bradley Joseph Buckley, 63, of Fort Madison, IA, passed away at 10:43 p.m. on Sunday, May 27, 2018 at the University of Iowa Hospitals in Iowa City, IA. He was born on November 29, 1954 in Fort Madison, IA to Donald R. & Shirley Easley Buckley. He married Linda “Lynn” R. (Lowe) Fraise on August 22, 1997 in Fort Madison, IA.He worked for Breck, Sheaffer Pen and retired from Gleasons as a machinist. He was a member of the Machinists Union #1010 District 103 and a trustee of the union. He served on the Riverfest Committee, was a Boy Scout for 50 years and

was a past Scoutmaster of Troop 39, Unit Commissioner for Pack & Troops 7 & 19. He won the District Award of Merit in 1992, completed Woodbridge Training, received the Scoutmasters Award of Merit by the National Eagle Scout Association, George Meaney Union Scouter Award, Distinguished Commissioner of Service Award, Silver Tomahawk Award for Lodge 80 at Camp Eastman and held the rank of Medicine Man. He served on the Camp Eastman Development Board of Directors, won the Silver Beaver Award, worked on the camp staff as a youth and adult at Camp Eastman. He received the gift of life in 1998 when he received a kidney & pancreas transplant.

Brad is survived by: his wife: Lynn Buckley of Fort Madison, IA; 1-daughter: Tami (Kevin) Stuekerjuergen of Donnellson, IA; 2-sons: Scott Fraise of New London, IA & Corey (Carrie) Fraise of Fort Madison, IA; 9-grandchildren; 2-great grandchildren; 3-sisters: Rhonda (Larry) Zumdome of Fort Madison, IA, Lynne (Wade) Reeder of Centralia, MO, Penny Schneider of North Liberty, IA and numerous nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, parents and 1-grandson: Mitch Stuekerjuergen.

Cremation has been entrusted to the care of King-Lynk Funeral Home & Crematory. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 4, 2018 with a memorial service to immediately follow at 11:00 a.m. at King-Lynk Funeral Home & Crematory with Fr. Mark Spring, Fr. Thomas Szydlik and Cindy Dorrell officiating. Burial will be held at Sacred Heart Cemetery. A memorial has been established for the Camp Eastman Development Association.
