Skelley joins FMCH psychiatry clinic

FORT MADISON - The Psychiatry Clinic at Fort Madison Community Hospital is pleased to welcome Mariah Skelley, to their team of health care providers.

Skelley is a Board Certified, Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Ohio University and her Master of Science in Nursing-Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Concentration from Kent State University in Ohio. She was employed at Psych 360 for the past year.

“I am excited to be part of the FMCH family. I enjoy a more rural setting and everyone has been extremely welcoming and helpful. I am excited to be joining an excellent health care team and getting to know my patients,” expressed Skelley.

“I always knew I wanted to be a Nurse Practitioner and chose Psychiatry after spending some time in the intensive care unit. Working with my patients there, I realized Psychiatry was my calling. I enjoy medication management and it is rewarding to help my patients reach their goals improving their quality of life over time.”
