Karen E. Cooper, 67, of Fort Madison, IA, passed away at 12:15 p.m. on Friday, June 15, 2018 at Great River Hospice House in West Burlington, IA. She was born on September 12, 1950 in Good Hope, IL to Enoch & Pansy Duncan Ford. She was a custodian for many years at the Fort Madison Community School District. She enjoyed spending time with her friends & family, especially her grandchildren.

Karen is survived by: 2-sons: Eric (Jesse) Mueller of Altoona, IA & Damien (Nichole) Cooper of Blue Grass, IA; 4-grandchildren: Jackson Mueller, Alexis, Cameron & Damien Eli Cooper and a special sister in law: Bertie Ford of Bushnell, IL. She was preceded in death by: her parents, 4-sisters: Faye Shriver, Mae McCance, Maxine Long & Rose Zerkle, 3-brothers: Bob, Don & Gene Ford.

Cremation has been entrusted to the care of King-Lynk Funeral Home & Crematory. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. with a memorial service to immediately follow at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 21, 2018 at King-Lynk Funeral Home & Crematory.
