Michael Joseph Krogmeier, 66, of Fort Madison, IA, passed away on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at his home. He was born on July 2, 1951 in Fort Madison, IA to Joseph M. & Hilda K. Meierotto Krogmeier. He farmed with his father for many years and after college, he did research for the University of Iowa and Iowa State University. He was an avid reader and loved to gain as much knowledge as he could.
Mike is survived by: his mother: Hilda Krogmeier of Fort Madison, IA and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father.
Cremation has been entrusted to the care of King-Lynk Funeral Home & Crematory. A memorial mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, June 22, 2018 at Sacred Heart Church with Rev. Mark P. Spring officiating. Burial will be at Sacred Heart Cemetery. A memorial has been established in his memory.
