7/03/2018 - 8:20 p.m - Fort Madison Police arrested Lawrence Richard Jackson, 47, no address listed, on a charge of public intoxication, at the Fort Madison Police Department. He was taken to Lee County Jail and held.

7/04/2018 - 1:21 a.m - Fort Madison Police arrested Kenneth Dale Sommerfield, 56, of Fort Madison, on a charge of violation of no contact order, in the 3000 block of Ave. N. He was taken to Lee County Jail and held.

7/04/2018 - 1:27 a.m - Fort Madison Police arrested Kathy Ann Clair, 55, of Fort Madison, on a charge of violation of no contact order, in the 3000 block of Ave. N. She was taken to Lee County Jail and held.

7/04/2018 - 7:33 p.m - Fort Madison Police responded to a report of larceny/ theft in the Fort Madison area.

7/04/2018 - 9:25 p.m - Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a gas drive off in the 1700 block of Ave. H.

7/05/2018 - 9:10 a.m - Fort Madison Police arrested Ronald Dean Ough, 58, of Fort Madison, on warrant services of eluding, reckless driving, and a stop light violation, in the 2100 block of Ave. G. He was taken to Lee County Jail and held.

7/05/2018 - 9:10 p.m - Fort Madison Police arrested Payton Wrage VanPelt, 22, of Fort Madison, on charges of interference with official acts and reckless driving in the 2100 block of Ave. D. She was taken to Lee County Jail and held.

7/03/2018 - 12:06 p.m - Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested Nicholas Ryan Queen, 39, of Burlington on a charge of being a fugitive from justice, at the Sheriff's office. He was taken to the Lee County Jail and held.

7/03/2018 - 3:52 p.m - Lee County Sheriff's deputies cited Ninettte Lynn Whippie, 49, of Keokuk on a charge of dog running at large in the 3200 block of Main St. in Keokuk. She was released upon citation.

7/04/2018 - 12:10 a.m - Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested Carl Gorman Meyers, 48, of Montrose on charges of OWI- 1st offence, failure to yield to emergency vehicles, and open container- driver 21+ YOA in the 2700 block of 252nd Ave. in Monstrose. He was taken to Lee County Jail and released upon personal recognizance.

7/04/2018 - 2:58 a.m - Lee County Sheriff's deputies responded to a one-vehicle accident at the intersection of 180th Avenue and 255th Street. According to reports, a vehicle driven by Ryan Patrick Danahe, 27, of Tulsa, Ok. had entered a ditch after Danahe swerved to avoid a barricade after looking up from his phone. No injuries were reported at the scene and Danahe was cited with failure to maintain control.

7/04/2018 - 9:24 a.m - Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested a 15 year old male, juvenile, of Keokuk on a charge of possession of alcohol under age- 1st. He was released to his parents.

7/04/2018 - 3:36 p.m - Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested Michael Dean Marsh, 46, of Fort Madison on a charge of intimidation with a dangerous weapon in the 1600 block of Green Bay Rd. in Wever. He was taken to Lee County Jail and released on bond.

7/05/2018 - 5:04 p.m - Lee County Sheriff's deputies responded to a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Co. Rd. 103 and Hwy. 218. A vehicle driven by Zachery Michael Vaughn, 16, of Fort Madison was struck by a vehicle driven by Androsov Pavel, 45, of Gulf Breeze, Fl. According to reports, a black Ford pickup, driven by an unknown party slammed on their brakes attempting to turn right onto 160th St. Vaughn slammed on his brakes, attempting to avoid a collision with the Ford pickup, causing Pavel to also slam on his brakes. Vaughn was cited for not having insurance with him, but neither identified party were placed at fault due to an unknown vehicle being the primary cause of the accident. No injuries were reported at the scene.

Those listed above are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
