FORT MADISON – The Bloodhound Youth football camp wrapped up Wednesday with more than 65 youth participating in annual summer football drill camp. Head Coach Tony Shiffman said numbers are comparable to previous year, but said it’s hard to get all the kids out to the camp during the summer.
The camp was for students in grades 1 through 8. Grades 1st through 6 were in camp Monday and Tuesday with 7th and 8th graders joining in on the drills on Wednesday.
The Bloodhound High School camps start next week. The FMHS football season kicks off August 24 with the season opener against Central Lee on the road.
