Kathy J. (Shreve) Allen, 46, of Nauvoo, Illinois passed away at 7:59 p.m. Thursday, July 26, 2018 at Fort Madison Community Hospital in Fort Madison, Iowa.
Born on November 26, 1971 in Fairfield, Illinois, the daughter of Donnie G. and M. Kay (Cooper) Shreve. On December 5, 1992, she married C. Marcus Allen in the Atlanta LDS Temple in Sandy Springs, Georgia.

She is preceded in death by all paternal and maternal grandparents and two uncles: Ronnie Shreve and Warren Cooper.
Kathy was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints in Nauvoo, Illinois. She loved reading, writing calligraphy, scouring cookbooks, Jane Austen movies, sunflowers and her family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon on Monday, July 30, 2018 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints in Nauvoo, Illinois.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon Monday, July 30, 2018 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints in Nauvoo, Illinois with Bishop Robert K. Barlow officiating.
In lieu flowers a memorial has been established in her memory for her children’s education fund.
