She states “Health care has always been a passion, because it allows you to change people’s lives for the better and provide hope for those in need”. When asked what motivates her, she replied “The opportunity to build relationships that are based on trust, respect, and a partnership between doctor and patient in order to improve the patient’s life is my biggest motivator. In addition, providing a listening and understanding ear to patients so that together we can arrive at ways to improve their lives is always the goal. I believe in a holistic approach, where every aspect of the patient’s life is addressed in order to make it better.”

Being part of the community drove Dr. Barosy’s decision to join FMCH. She shares “FMCH made a great impression on me when I visited. Everyone was so down to earth and made me feel welcomed. Also, the town of Fort Madison is a great place to exert my passion and apply my knowledge. The town gave me that down home feeling and seemed like a great place to grow both personally and professionally. I hope to lend a helping hand to the people of this community and I look forward to joining the team.”

“I am the fourth of six children raised by a single mother who raised us in a loving Christian household, and taught us about respect, the importance of education, hard work, and to always dream big. I love discovering new things and acquiring new passions. Music, art, a solid church life, and great cuisine make life so much more enjoyable in my opinion. I couldn’t live without them!”
