Scouting "Join Nights" planned for area communities

LEE COUNTY – The Mississippi Valley Boy Scout Council is gearing up with their local volunteers for an action-packed fall season of Scouting. Local Cub Scout Packs will soon be holding “Join Nights” in their communities for new families to Join Scouting.

Cub Scouting is more than just an activity. It’s adventure, learning, and discovery around every corner. From STEM, to exploring the outdoors, your son or daughter will be on the path to discovering their very best “future self”- and they’ll have fun doing it! Cub Scouts is for youth in grades Kindergarten through Fifth Grade.

Join Cub Scouts in the following communities:

Fort Madison Community Schools: Thursday September 13th from 6pm-7:30pm at Central Park.

Central Lee Community Schools: September 11th, from 6-7:30 pm at Central Lee Elementary.

Keokuk Community Schools: September 10th, from 5:30-7pm at Tolmie Park.

The Mississippi Valley Council is a local Boy Scouts of America Organization supporting youth development in the tri-state area.
