7th graders get another shutout

FORT MADISON - The Fort Madison Middle School 7th grade football team notched another shutout win on Tuesday night at home.

Henry Wiseman went crazy on the ground rushing for 271 yards in 40-0 win over Washington.

Wiseman had touchdown runs of 80, 30 and 9 yards, and a couple of two-point conversions in the win. He also had four tackles in the game.

Teague Smith rushed for two scores of 15 and 10 yards and then threw a 38-yard touchdown strike to Ike Tacher. Thacher led the team with six tackles and had a fumble recovery. Aiden Benda and Joe Hartman had five tackles each, and Benda scooped up another fumble for Fort Madison.

Marin Rose and Jamarcus Kline each picked off two Demon passes in the win.
