KEOKUK - United Way of the Great River Region is thrilled to have our largest Restaurant Days event in our history.

"With the addition of Carthage and Hamilton Dairy Queens, Sub-Arena and Keokuk Hy-Vee this year's Restaurant Days is our largest one ever." said Karen Thie, Executive Director.

During the month of October, a variety of area restaurants have graciously agreed to donate a portion of their day's receipts to United Way of the Great River Region to go directly to our Fall 2018 Campaign.

Thie said area residents should check the most updated calendar on the United Way of the Great River Region's Facebook page for participating restaurants.

Currently fourteen Lee County restaurants are participating: Fort Worth BBQ, Beef, Bread & Brew, V's Restaurant & Brew Pub, Hawkeye Restaurant, Java River Coffee House and Bakery, Dr. Getwell's, McDonald's, and Wendy's, Hy- Vee and Pizza Hut in Keokuk; Buffalo 61, Cottage Café, The Palms and Sub-Arena in Fort Madison. They are joined by Hotel Nauvoo in Nauvoo, Carthage Dairy Queen, El Camino Real, Hamilton Family Restaurant and Dairy Queen in Hamilton representing Hancock County. There is still room for more!

For more information on having a Clark, Hancock or Lee county restaurant participate, contact Karen Thie at United Way of the Great River Region at 319-524-4504 or by email at director@unitedwaygrr.org<mailto:director@unitedwaygrr.org>

United Way of the Great River Region serves all of Lee, Hancock, and Clark Counties. All donations are tax-deductible.
