KEOKUK - Pilot Grove Savings Bank has made a generous commitment in providing tri-state area nonprofit organizations critical grant funding.

This week, Pilot Grove Savings Bank made a gift of $25,000 to the Keokuk Area Community Foundation to establish The Pilot Grove Savings Bank Grant Endowment Fund.

Every year, The Pilot Grove Savings Bank Grant Endowment Fund will provide grants to local tri-state Area nonprofit organizations.

The Pilot Grove Savings Bank gift is a substantial contribution to the Keokuk Area Community Foundation Grant Endowment Fund Capital Campaign. Launched earlier this year, The Keokuk Area Community Foundation Grant Endowment Fund Capital Campaign is focused on building a permanent endowment to provide annual grants to local nonprofits and charities to establish new programs, to acquire new equipment, and to improve their facilities.

“The Keokuk Area Community Foundation is proud to partner with Pilot Grove Savings Bank to increase philanthropic giving to the Tri-State Area,” said Roger R. Ricketts, Executive Director of The Keokuk Area Community Foundation. “Pilot Grove Savings Bank's charitable commitment is an example of corporate responsibility to the community it serves. The Keokuk Area Community Foundation could not be more grateful for gift to The Grant Endowment Fund Capital Campaign.”

Since its inception in 2004, the Keokuk Area Community Foundation has provided a base of charitable support to benefit people in the Tri-State Area. Our annual grants have provided many important non-profits with critical funding that augments their own fund-raising. The Keokuk Area Community Foundation Grant Endowment Fund Capital Campaign will provide a permanent source of funds to maintain and increase our annual grant program over the long term.
