Task force arrests FM couple, Keokuk man

FORT MADISON - The Lee County Narcotics Task Force reports the arrest of three individuals, on felony drug charges. A Fort Madison couple and, in an unrelated case, a Keokuk man.

VICTORY

Brandon Victory, 38, and Susan Kottenstette, 52, both of 1125 Ave E, Fort Madison, Iowa were arrested on October 16th, 2018 at their residence on felony and misdemeanor drug charges. Victory is charged with the following:

Possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver less than five grams, second or subsequent offense and within 1000 feet of a public park, a class C felony with enhancements.

Two counts of delivery of methamphetamine, second or subsequent offense within 1000 feet of a public park, class C felonies with enhancements.

Maintaining a drug house, an aggravated misdemeanor.

Possession of a controlled substance (Oxycodone) a serious misdemeanor.

Possession of drug paraphernalia, a simple misdemeanor.

KOTTENSTETTE

Susan Kottenstette is charged with possession of marijuana, possession of methamphetamine and possession of a scheduled 3 controlled substance, all serious misdemeanors, and possession of drug paraphernalia, a simple misdemeanor.

The arrests of Victory and Kottenstette stem from an investigation by the Lee County Narcotics Task Force into allegations that they were involved in the use and distribution of illegal narcotics in the Fort Madison area. A search warrant was served in connection with this investigation and items that support the charges were discovered.

In an unrelated matter, David Michael Omiatek II, 19, of Keokuk, Iowa, was arrested on October 11th, 2018 on multiple warrants. Omiatek is charged with two counts of delivery of methamphetamine less than five grams, class C felonies with an enhancement.

OMIATEK

The arrest of Omiatek stems from an investigation by the Lee County Narcotics Task Force into allegations that he was involved with the distribution of methamphetamine in the Keokuk area.
