10/15/18 - 6:53 a.m. - Fort Madison Police responded a report of a property damage accident in the 4400 block of Avenue O.

10/15/18 - 8:06 a.m. - Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a larceny/theft in the 2900 block of Avenue N.

10/15/18 - 11:47 a.m. -Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a larceny/theft in the 2100 block of Avenue E.

10/15/18 - 12:23 p.m. - Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a hit and run in the 2000 block of Avenue L.

10/15/18 - 10:02 p.m. - Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a property damage accident in the 3900 block of Avenue O.

10/15/18 - 10:06 p.m. - Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a burglary in progress in the 600 block of Avenue D.

10/16/18 - 8:16 a.m. - Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a burglary in the 1100 block of Avenue F.

10/15/18 - 10:10 a.m. - Fort Madison Police arrested Cody Sheridan Collins, 28, of Fort Madison in the 1200 block of Avenue G on a charge of disorderly conduct and first-degree harassment. He was taken to the Lee County Jail.

10/16/18 - 5:07 a.m. - Fort Madison Police cited Isaiah James Rutter, 30, of Fort Madison in the 200 block of 303rd Avenue on a charge of driving while suspended. He was released upon citation.

10/16/18 - 8:16 a.m. - Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a burglary in the 1100 block of Avenue F.

10/16/18 - 5:07 p.m. - Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a property damage accident in the 2600 block of Avenue L.

10/16/18 - 1:44 p.m. - Fort Madison Police arrested Jacob William Klesner, 33, of Fort Madison in the 1600 block of Avenue I on a warrant for 5th-degree theft. He was taken to the Lee County Jail and held.

10/16/18 - 1:44 p.m. - Fort Madison Police arrested Shelby Lynn Johnson, 26, of Fort Madison in the 1600 block of Avenue I, on a charge of interference with official acts.

Lee County Sheriff's report

10/16/18 - 6:19 p.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies cited Patrick Joseph Helling, 58, of Fort Madison, in the 3300 block of Country Club Lane for a charge of dog running at large. He was released upon citation.

10/17/18 - 10:58 a.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested Shelby Kora Kelly, 23, of Keokuk, at the sheriff's office, on a charge of being a fugitive from justice. She was taken to the Lee County Jail and held.

10/17/18 - 3:23 p.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies responded to a two-vehicle accident on 280th Street where, according to reports, a vehicle driven by Stephen Jeffrey Smith, 65, of Montrose collided with a vehicle driven by Roger Lloyd Martin, 61, of Montrose, after Smith turned onto 280th Street from a business. No citations or injuries were reported at the scene.

10/18/18 - 3:58 p.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested Sophia McKenna Gregory, 20, of Hamilton, Ill., at the sheriff's office on two charges of 5th-degree criminal mischief. She was taken to the Lee County Jail and held.

10/18/18 - 6:07 p.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested Bowe James Cook, 25, of Rome, at the sheriff's office on a charge of interference with a correctional officers-bodily injury. He was taken to the Lee County Jail and held.

10/18/18 - 8:51 p.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested Brittany Lane Picton, 31, of Keokuk, in the 800 block of Johnson Street Road in Keokuk, on a charge of domestic assault-bodily injury. She was taken to the Lee County Jail and held.

10/18/18 - 10:45 p.m. - Lee County Sheriff's deputies arrested Steven Allen Messer, 33, of Selma, in Van Buren County, on a warrant for sex offender registration violation. He was taken to the Lee County Jail and held.

Those listed above are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
