Sandra Anne Caldwell, 75, of Warsaw, IL died Friday, October 19, 2018 at her home.

She was born on July 19, 1943 in Newton, IA the daughter of John Edward and Thelma Ellerzan (McConeghey) Petted. On January 7, 1973, Sandra was united in marriage to Kenneth W. Caldwell, M.D. in Newton, IA. He preceded her in death on January 5, 2000.

Sandra attended the University of Northern Iowa where she studied fine arts.

She was the owner and operator of Annetiques in Warsaw, IL.

Sandra was a member of numerous organizations and clubs which supported the community and historical preservation. She was a member and had served as President of Iowa State Questers and the American Legion Auxiliary in Warsaw. She was also a member of the University Dames, the Historical Societies in Cedar Falls, IA and Warsaw, IL, the Gourmet Club, Garden Club, Warsaw Women, WINN, AROW and other groups. She had also served as a volunteer at Goodwill.

She enjoyed reading and took a special interest in history, historical preservation, art, and music. Sandra was a loving wife and mother who enjoyed being a homemaker and making a wonderful home for her family. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy and she cherished the time she spent with them. Sandra will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by two sons, Kenneth W. Caldwell II (Jan) of Iowa City, IA, Quinn Caldwell of Warsaw, IL, three daughters, Mary Jane Caldwell of Montezuma, IA, Erin Lopez of Warsaw, IL, and Amy Caldwell of Hamilton, IL, one brother, John M. Petted (Denise) of Newton, IA, four grandsons, Kenneth W. Caldwell III (Becky) of Cedar Rapids, IA, Wilfedo Lopez and Matteo Lopez both of St. Paul, MN, and John E. Caldwell of Warsaw, IL, one granddaughter, Kathlina Lopez of St. Paul, MN, two great-grandchildren, Logan and Mackenzie Caldwell of Cedar Rapids, IA, and two nephews, Edward Petted (Carlyn) of Newton, IA and James Petted (Missy) of Newton, IA.

Besides her beloved husband, she was also preceded in death by her parents.

A private family graveside service will be held at the White Oak Cemetery in rural Rome, IA.

There will be no visitation.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Sandra Caldwell Memorial Fund at the Hill Dodge Bank, 501 Main Street, Warsaw, IL 62379.

The Vigen Memorial Home in Keokuk is assisting the family with arrangements.
