Task force nets two in Keokuk on meth charges

The Lee County Narcotics Task Force reports the arrest of two Keokuk, Iowa individuals on felony drug charges.

MCDERMOTT

William Mcdermott, 28, and Andrienna Blentlinger, 25, were arrested on October 24th, 2018. Both are charged with possession with intent to deliver less than 5 grams of methamphetamine within 1000 feet of a park, a class C felony with an enhancement. If convicted, each could face up to 15 years in a state correctional facility.

The Lee County Attorney’s Office, and the Keokuk Police Department assisted the Lee County Narcotics Task Force in this investigation.

The defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

The Lee County Narcotics Task Force is funded in part by the U.S. Department of Justice and the funds administered by the Iowa Governor’s Office of Drug Control Policy.
