FORT MADISON – The light rain didn’t stop the Trick or Treat’ers from getting around the city on Tuesday night during the citywide Beggars’ Night. Old Settler’s Park, downtown Main Street and Kempker’s True Value Rental all had special safe trick or treating for the youngsters…and some older kids, too.

Trick or treaters stopped by Dr. Mark C. Pothitakis’ Family Dentistry on Tuesday where staff handed out about 700 toothbrushes to clean the sweets off the teeth.
Kempker’s True Value Rental was another place where a light snack accompanies the sweets. Fareway and New Dimensions were also part of the giving on Tuesday night. Photo by Aniah Ross/PCC Intern
