Argyle man arrested on drug, guns charges

The Lee County Narcotics Task Force reports the arrest of an Argyle, Iowa man on felony drug charges.

Skyler Stark, 31, of Argyle, Iowa was arrested on November 4, 2018 on felony drug charges. Stark is charged with the following:

⦁ Possession of more than five grams of methamphetamine with intent to deliver, while in possession of a firearm, a class B felony with an enhancement.

⦁ Possession of a schedule II substance (Acetaminophen Hydrocodone) with intent to deliver, a class C felony.

⦁ Possession of cocaine with intent to deliver, while in possession of a firearm, a class C felony with an enhancement.

If convicted, Stark faces up to 80 years in a state correctional facility.

The arrest of Stark stems from a traffic stop by the Lee County Sheriff’s Office K9 unit. The Task Force conducted a search of the vehicle where evidence to support the charges were located.

The Lee County Attorney’s Office, Iowa Division of Narcotics Enforcement, and the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, assisted the Lee County Narcotics Task Force in this investigation.

The defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
