Kruse scores 26 in FMMS win

PCC STAFF BURLINGTON - The Fort Madison Middle School girls A team downed Edward Stone Monday 37-15. Leaders in scoring were Camille Kruse with 26. Isabella Boeding threw in seven points, and Molly Knipe added four. McKenna Cashman had six rebounds to lead the eighth graders. Knipe had five boards, Emily Steffensmeier had two, Ivy Arnold, Eveonna Smutney, Kruse, and Ran Deltetsen had one each. Assist leaders were Boeding with four, Knipe and Steffensmeier each had three and Cashman added one.
The B game was won by Edward Stone by a score of 0-12. Leaders in rebounds was Ivy Arnold had three rebounds while , Eveonna Smutney and Rylee Dubois had two apiece.
On Thursday the girls A team downed Aldo Leopold at home 39-10. Boeding led the girls with 12 points. Knipe had eight, Cashman pitched in with seven, and Camille Kruse added six to lead Fort Madison. Knipe also had a team-high six board and Kruse led the girls with seven assists.
In the B game, FMMS lost 12-8. Arnold had four points, while Smutney and Deltetsen each added a bucket.
