FMCH welcomes new internal medicine physician

FORT MADISON - The Internal Medicine Clinic at Fort Madison Community Hospital is pleased to welcome Internist, Dr. Pauline Agornyo.

Dr. Agornyo is a Board Certified Internal Medicine Physician. Dr. Agornyo completed a Fellowship in Geriatrics at Northwell Health in New York after completing her Internal

Medicine Residency at Connecticut Institute for Communities, Danbury Hospital in Connecticut. She received her Doctor of Medicine degree from Ross University School of Medicine in New Jersey. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry from the University of Massachusetts.

Dr. Agornyo pursued a career in medicine because she finds the complexity of the human body intriguing. She also wanted to help people.

“The most rewarding thing about Internal Medicine is helping people feel better and live healthier lives. I truly enjoy building relationships with my patients,” explained Dr. Agornyo.

“I am excited to be part of the FMCH team because I appreciate community-based practices. I like the fact FMCH is small enough to be like a family but is still up to date with the changes occurring in health care.”

Dr. Agornyo stays busy with her three young children, enjoying outdoor activities and traveling.

Dr. Agornyo will join Dr. Rosellar Libarnes, Dr. Lisa Bishop, and Dr. Artemio Santiago in the care of adult patients.
