After Wine Walk, stop in for super soups

FORT MADISON - The Fort Madison Elks Lodge Soup Supper will be held this year on Friday November 16, the same day as the Fort Madison Main Street Wine Walk at 719 Avenue H.
This year's event will feature a variety of soups including brat-chasse, potato, chili, vegetable, chicken noodle, JD's Beef Bond stew, white chili with chicken, and a gumbo.
We are having a variety of soups- brat-cheese, potato, chili, vegetable, chicken noodle, JD's Beef Bond stew, white chili with chicken, and Gumbo.
Included in price is all-you-can-eat soup, and a dessert table for $8 for adults, kids 3-11 are just $5, and anyone under 3 eats free. Customers are able to vote for favorite soup by "tipping" the chefs. Winner gets the coveted Golden Ladle award.
We are also selling specialty margaritas called Penelope's Harvest Brew.
Chefs for this year's soup supper include: Shirley Hoenig, Dave Clark, Rick Tebbs, Carol Cowles and sous-chef Maddy, Kris Knoke, Terry McGregor, Silvia McMeins and J.D. Henshaw. Proceeds goes to Elks community projects and Elks kids Christmas party.
