Elizabeth Marie Waytes, 70 years, of Fort Madison, Iowa died Wednesday morning, November 21, 2018 at her home. She was born July 24, 1948 in Fort Madison, Iowa, a daughter of Paul Junior and Margaret Louise (Redd) Marshall. On December 29, 1970, she married Ronald Melvin Waytes, Sr. He preceded her in death on November 5, 2007.

Elizabeth retired from Sheaffer Pen Company. She was a member of Cathedral of Worship, Quincy, Illinois. She enjoyed singing and trying new things to bake. She loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by two sons, Min. Ronald (Regina) Waytes, Jr. of Fort Madison and Min. Timothy (Josephine) Marshall of South Carolina; one daughter, Rhonda (Jerry) Mitchell of Ohio; five grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and a whole host of brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers and sisters.

Visitation will be held from 9:30 to 11:00 am Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at the Barr Memorial Chapel, Fort Madison. A Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 am at the funeral home, with Ministers Ronald Waytes, Jr and Timothy Marshall officiating. Private burial will be at Soldiers Circle, Oakland Cemetery, Fort Madison. A memorial has been established and contributions may be left at the Barr Memorial Chapel.
