FORT MADISON - Fort Madison Community Hospital recognized Darrell Featheringill as their October Employee of the Month. Featheringill is part of the Information Technology Services (ITS) team. He has been with FMCH for four years. Featheringill was chosen with this nomination:

This employee lives the Standards of Behavior at FMCH exemplifying Positive Attitude, Commitment to Co-Workers, and Communication. This employee has helped our department on so many occasions, always remaining patient and understanding of our questions in regards to an area that we don't understand much about sometimes. They get our issues resolved quickly and are constantly following up with us to make sure we are getting along well. It's a great feeling to know that when we reach out to this employee, our problems will be resolved in the appropriate manner. They truly are an 'owner' of FMCH and their department. We are lucky to have them!

“The atmosphere, the people and the idea of having good standards of behavior to help the employees succeed are what make working at FMCH so rewarding,” commented Featheringill.

When not trouble shooting computer issues at FMCH, Featheringill enjoys spending time with his wife and family watching movies, playing video games or racing radio controlled cars.

The Employee of the Month is an initiative developed by the Reward & Recognition team. Each month a FMCH employee is honored for going above and beyond for the good of the patient, their co-workers and the organization.
