FMMS 8th grade girls take two from Keokuk

FORT MADISON - The Fort Madison 8th grade girls basketball teams took two games from Keokuk Tuesday night.

The A-Team won 34-22 and the B-Team won 8-7.

Scoring leaders for Fort Madison A-Team were Isabella Boeding with 14, followed by Camille Kruse with 12. Leading rebounders were Molly Knipe with 13 followed by McKenna Cashman with eight. Leading in assists were Kruse with five followed with Knipe with two.

Scoring leaders for the Fort Madison B-Team featured four girls all scoring a bucket for the Bloodhounds: Emily Steffensmeier, Eveonna Smutney, Ran Deltetsen, and Edlicia Smutney. Leading rebounders were Deltetsen with four followed by three girls with a two rebounds each: Cashman, Smutney, and Rylee Dubois. Assists leaders were Smutney and Deltetsen with one assist each.
