St. Paul man busted with marijuana, meth

ST. PAUL - The Lee County Narcotics Task Force reports the arrest of a St. Paul, Iowa man on felony drug charges.

GUTTING

Jamie Lawrence Gutting, 48, of St. Paul, Iowa was arrested on November, 29th, 2018 on felony drug charges. Gutting is charged with: delivery of marijuana within 1000 Feet of a public park, a Class D felony, and delivery of methamphetamine less than 5 grams within 1000 feet of a public park, a class C Felony. If convicted, Gutting faces up to 25 years in a state correctional facility.

The arrest of Gutting stems from an investigation by the Lee County Narcotics Task Force into allegations that he was involved in the distribution of illegal drugs in the Lee County area.

The Lee County Attorney’s Office, Iowa Division of Narcotics Enforcement, and the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, assisted the Lee County Narcotics Task Force in this investigation.

The defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

The Lee County Narcotics Task Force is funded in part by the U.S. Department of Justice and the funds administered by the Iowa Governor’s Office of Drug Control Policy.
