FMMS 8th-grader "A" team downs Fairfield

FAIRFIELD - The Fort Madison 8th grade girls downed Fairfield Thursday night 34-15. The leading scorer for the Bloodhounds were Isabella Boeding and Camille Kruse with 13 points each. Rounding out the scoring for the Bloodhounds was Molly Knipe and McKenna Cashman each with four points. The Lady Hounds were led in rebounding by Knipe with 11 followed by Kruse with five and Ivy Arnold with three, Boeding and Cashman each had one board. Assist leaders were Kruse with six followed by Knipe with two and Boeding and Emily Steffensmeier had one each.

Fort Madison B-Team lost a close game to Fairfield by two with a score of 6-8. Leading scorer for the Hounds was Rylee Dubois with 4 points and Arnold with two points. Rebounding leader was Ryan Deltetsen with five boards followed by Rylee Dubois and Eveonna Smutney with three rebound. Cashman, Steffensmeier, Arnold, and Kayley Noble had one rebound each. The Bloodhounds were led in assist by Edlicia Smutney and Steffensmeier with one assist each.

The Bloodhounds will play their last game of the season on Thursday Dec 13th in Mt. Pleasant.
