FM 7th grade boys down Fairfield

FORT MADISON - The Fort Madison 7th grade boys basketball squad took two games from Fairfield at home last Thursday, and tied a game.

Leif Boeding led the 'A' team with 21 points including two 3-pointers in a 49-25 win. Hunter Creswell was second on the team in scoring with 12 points. Other scorers on the 'A' team included Marin Rose with five points, Aiden Benda with four, Cade Denning and Ben Ramatowski with two each and Nathen Bowen with a point.

Denning and Benda each had four rebounds to lead the 'A' squad in the win.

The two squads battled to a tie in the 'B' game. In the 'B' game, Javean Davis, Hayden Segoviaono and Starks all scored four points. Oliver Santiago pitched in two. Segoviaono led the Hounds with four rebounds.

Jahbari Starks, Xander Lumsden and Ayden Moyers each scored four points for Fort Madison in a 14-11 win the 'C' game. Lumsden and Deeunta Ceaser both had four rebounds for the Hounds. Ceaser also scored two points

The 7th graders wrap up the season tonight against Mt. Pleasant.
