FMMS 7th graders wrap up season with win

FORT MADISON - The Fort Madison Middle School boys 7th grade basketball team wrapped up its season with a couple wins at home against Mt. Pleasant on Thursday.

In the 'A' game, Leif Boeding led the Little Hounds with 11 points including a 3-pointer. Carson Rashid had eight points followed by Hunter Cresswell and Henry Wiseman with seven and six respectively as FMMS won handily 44-12.

Aiden Benda and Ben Ramatowski each had four points, while Cade Denning and Jamarkus Kline added two each.

Rashid had eight boards to lead FMMS and Boeding had six.

In the 'B' game, Aiden Moyers had four points to lead FMMS. Javean Davis had three rebounds for the Hounds.

Oliver Santiago, Davis, Jahbari Sparks, and Ethan Porter also had buckets for Fort Madison in the 14-12 win.
