Frank M. Ellington, 94, of Kahoka, MO and formerly of Fort Madison, IA, passed away at 5:25 p.m. on Thursday, December 20, 2018 at the Clark County Nursing Home in Kahoka, MO. He was born on July 10, 1924 in Fort Madison, IA to Warren & Pearl Mahon Ellington. He married Jackie L. Cochran in 1998 in Carlisle, IA. He taught music for 32 years in Iowa Schools and received a masters degree in Education & also in Music Education from Drake University. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps from 1942 to 1945. He has written 7 books about the Santa Fe Railroad and helped form the Santa Fe Modelers & Historical Society. He has been a member of the Fort Madison Masonic Lodge #13 for 72 years and was a 32nd Degree Mason.

Frank is survived by: his wife: Jackie Ellington of Kahoka, MO; 2-daughters: Wanda (John) Gulick of Des Moines, IA & Cheryl O’Braza of Des Moines, IA; 5-grandchildren; 10-great grandchildren & 1-sister: Marjorie Ringwalt of Los Angeles, CA. He was preceded in death by: his parents and his first wife.
