WEVER – Earlier this week, Iowa Fertilizer Company and its employees donated winter coats and other winter clothing items to students attending Richardson Elementary School and Lincoln Elementary School in Fort Madison.

Through employee donations and the company’s matching contribution, a wide range of coats and snow pants were purchased or donated to the two schools to help students stay safe and active in the winter months.

“Every year, Iowa Fertilizer Company and our employees look for new ways to invest in the southeast Iowa community and meet some of the ongoing needs of our neighbors,” said Darrell Allman, Iowa Fertilizer Company’s Managing Director. “Our team is pleased to donate winter coats to Richardson Elementary School and Lincoln Elementary School in Fort Madison. We hope the students enjoy the coats and are able to continue participating in all the outdoor activities they can even in the cold winter months.”

Over the past several weeks, Iowa Fertilizer Company employees donated coats and other clothing items or provided direct financial contributions. The company matched those donations dollar-for-dollar.
