Deep freeze cancels city's recycling collection

FORT MADISON - Due to the dangerous arctic temperatures and the temporary closing of the Great River Regional Waste Authority landfill, the City of Fort Madison will not collect Route B’s recycling on Wednesday, January 30. Route B will be collected on Wednesday, February 6 along with Route A recycling. Please contact the City of Fort Madison at (319) 372-7700 if you have questions.
