Fort Madison Police Report

02/01/19 – 12:00 – Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a burglary in the 1600 block of Avenue H.

02/01/19 – 1:46 p.m. – Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a property damage accident in the 600 block of Avenue G.

02/01/19 – 2:19 p.m. – Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a property damage accident in the 1500 block of Avenue H.

02/01/19 – 3:15 p.m. – Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a property damage accident in the 400 block of 14th Street.

02/01/19 – 6:53 p.m. – Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a burglary in the 1200 block of 36th Stree

02/01/19 – 8:28 p.m. – Fort Madison Police arrested David Michael Omiatek, II, 19, of Fort Madison, in the 5200 block of River Valley Road, on warrants for controlled substance violations (2x) and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was taken to the Lee County Jail and held.

02/02/19 – 12:15 a.m. – Fort Madison Police cited Terry Lee Clark, Jr., 26 of Fort Madison, in the 4500 block of Avenue O, on a charge of driving under suspension. He was released upon citation.

02/02/19 – 12:40 p.m. – Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a burglary in the 1000 block of Avenue F.

02/02/19 – 4:28 p.m. – Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a gas drive off in the 1700 block of Avenue H.

02/03/19 – 12:16 a.m. – Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a larceny/theft in the 400 block of Avenue D.

02/04/19 – 2:18 a.m. – Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a property damage accident in the 2900 block of Avenue L.

Lee County Sheriff’s Report

02/01/19 – 8:28 p.m. – Lee County Sheriff’s deputies arrested David Michael Omiatek, 19, of Fort Madison in the 5200 block of River Valley Rd in Fort Madison, on a warrant for failure to appear and a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. He was taken to the Lee County Jail and held.

02/02/19 – 11:44 p.m. – Lee County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a two-vehicle accident at 340th Avenue and Hwy. 61. According to the report, a vehicle driven by Skylar Schau, 19, of Donnellson collided with the rear of a vehicle driven by Chris Johnson, 38, of West Burlington. Both vehicle were southbound on Hwy. 61. Three occupants of Johnson’s vehicle were transported to Fort Madison Community Hospital for injuries by Lee County EMS. Schau was cited for failure to maintain control. No other injuries were reported at the scene.

02/03/19 – 8:02 a.m. – Lee County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Adam James Huss, 30, of Fort Madison at the Lee County Jail and a charge of disorderly conduct. He was held in custody.

02/03/19 – 8:07 a.m. – Lee County Sheriff’s deputies arrested William Jay Kirchner, Jr., 29, of Burlington, at the Lee County Jail on a charge of disorderly conduct. He was held in custody.

02/03/19 7:06 p.m. – Lee County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Kayla Kristine Lewis, 29, of Danville, at the sheriff’s office on a charge of simple assault. She was taken to the Lee County Jail and released on a promise to appear.

Those listed above are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

02/03/19 – Fort Madison Firefighters responded to one medical call and one false alarm.
