FMMS girls 4-0 with Keokuk win on the road

KEOKUK - The Fort Madison 7th grade girls basketball A team moved to 4-0 on the season with a 27-13 road win over Keokuk.

Aija Jenkins led all scorers with 10 points, followed closely by Taylor Johnson with seven points. DeLanee Seay added six points while Lauryn Helmick and Madelyn Gobble finished out the scoring with two each. Johnson led in rebounds with five and added three steals while Jenkins and Gobble each grabbed another three rebounds. Fort Madison’s A team plays at home on Thursday against Aldo Leopald.

The Fort Madison B team won by a score of 16-2. Ieisha Coleman led in scoring with 14 points with Haley Lampe also chipping in two points. With the win, Fort Madison’s B team moves to 4-0 and plays at home Thursday against Aldo Leopald.
