Fort Madison Police Report

02/07/19 – 9:43 p.m. – Fort Madison Police cited Earl Rondell Simmons, 44, of Fort Madison, in the 3200 block of Avenue L on a charge of driving while barred. He was released upon citation.

02/08/19 – 9:48 a.m. – Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a shoplifter in the 1800 block of Avenue H.

02/08/19 – 11:07 a.m. -Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a shoplifter in the 1800 block of Avenue H.

02/08/19 – 11:08 a.m. – Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a property damage accident in the 6000 block of Reve Court.

02/08/19 – 3:24 p.m. – Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a hit and run in the 800 block of Avenue G.

02/08/19 – 7:34 p.m. – Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a gas drive off in the 1700 block of Avenue H.

02/09/19 – 2:33 a.m. – Fort Madison Police cited James David Ralph, 33, of Nauvoo in the 3500 block of Avenue L on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released upon citation.

02/09/19 – 5:42 p.m. – Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a stolen bicycle in the 2800 block of Avenue M.

02/09/19 – 6:41 p.m. – Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a hit and run in the 1900 block of Avenue G.

02/09/19 – 7:04 p.m. – Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a burglary in progress at in the 2900 block of Avenue H.

02/09/19 – 9:43 p.m. – Fort Madison Police arrested Leroy Fred Hoenig, Jr., 65, of Montrose at the intersection of Bluff Road and Hwy. 2 on a charge of operating while intoxicated-1st offense. He was also cited for driving left of center. He was taken to the Lee County Jail and held.

02/10/19 – 12:38 a.m. Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a shoplifter in the 2600 block of Avenue L.

02/10/19 – 2:39 p.m. – Fort Madison Police arrested Kathleen Marie Rogers, 37, at the Fort Madison Community Hospital Emergency Room on a charge of disorderly conduct. She was taken to the Lee County Jail and held.

02/10/19 – 10:41 p.m. – Fort Madison Police arrested Thomas Wayne Davis, Jr., 19, of Fort Madison at the police station on a warrant for failure to appear. He was taken to the Lee County Jail and held.

02/11/19 – 1:08 a.m. – Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a property damage accident reported at the police department.

02/11/19 – 8:48 a.m. – Fort Madison Police responded to a report of a property damage accident in the Fort Madison area.

Lee County Sheriff’s Report

02/07/19 – 6:06 a.m. – Lee County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a one vehicle accident in the 1800 block of Primrose Rd. A county maintainer, operated by Zachariah Shawn Fuller, 41, of Keokuk slid on icy condition and ended up in the ditch where the truck tipped onto it’s side. Fuller reported injuries, no citations were issued at the scene.

02/07/19 – 11:39 a.m. – Lee County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a one-vehicle accident southbound on Hwy. 61. The vehicle driven by Pamela Ann Waterman, 60, of Fort Madison lost control on icy surface causing the vehicle to roll and come to rest on it’s wheels in the ditch. No injuries or citations were issued at the scene.

02/07/19 – 1:19 p.m. – Lee County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a one-vehicle accident on Hwy. 218 near 190th St. A tractor-trailer driven by Wayne Roy Davis, 57, of Quincy slid on icy conditions causing the trailer to come around and collide with the tractor ending up facing northbound. No injuries or citations were issued at the scene.

02/07/19 – 8:16 p.m. – Lee County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a one vehicle accident in the 2400 block of 340th Street. A vehicle driven by Jordyan Ann Messenger, 20, of Montrose, slid on icy roads and entered a ditch. No injuries were reported and Messenger was cited for failure to maintain control.

02/08/19 – 5:41 a.m. – Lee County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a two-vehicle accident on 7th Street in Montrose where a vehicle driven by Beverly Dawn Callahan, 68, of Montrose, struck a vehicle driven by Jennifer Lynn Biffle, 41, of Nauvoo, Ill. Callahan was cited for failure to yield. No injuries were reported at the scene.

02/08/19 – 7:55 a.m. – Lee County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Katie Kayelynn Henderson, 20, of Fort Madison, at the sheriff’s office on a judgment hold. She was taken to the Lee County Jail and held.

02/08/19 – 11:31 a.m. – Lee County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Joyce Lee Boley, 37, of Keokuk, at the Lee County Jail on a charge of possession of a controlled substance.

02/08/19 – 4:30 p.m. – Lee County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Jodie Diane Johnson, 40, of Fort Madison at the Lee County Jail on a warrant for failure to appear. She was held in custody.

02/08/19 – 6:13 p.m. – Lee County Sheriff’s deputies cited Whispy Ray Brown, 26, of Fort Madison in the 2100 block of 330th Avenue, on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. She was released upon citation.

02/09/19 – 11:36 p.m. – Lee County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of a two-vehicle accident on Hwy. 16 westbound. A vehicle driven by Charles Robert Emmanuel Schutt, 34, of St. Louis was sideswiped by a vehicle headed east bound who allegedly crossed the center line. The driver of the second vehicle left the scene prior to law enforcement arriving, but left ownership and insurance information under the name Terry Harrish. No injuries or citations were reported at the scene.

02/10/19 – 4:58 a.m. – Lee County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Kory Lane Moore, 45, of Danville, in the 1400 block of 240th Avenue, on a charge of operating a vehicle while intoxicated. He was taken to the Lee County Jail and released on a promise to appear.

02/08/19 – Fort Madison Firefighters responded to two medical calls.

02/09/19 – Fort Madison Firefighters responded to one medical call and one public service, and a sprinkler activation.

02/10/19 – Fort Madison Firefighters responded to four medical calls.
