FORT MADISON – Another post-season honor was handed down to FMHS’s Jayden Fedler. Fedler, a junior on this year’s Bloodhound basketball team, was named to the substate 5 bracket All-Substate team this week.

Fedler had 16 points in the Bloodhounds 54-50 season-ending loss to Washington Feb. 19 in the first round of the substate 5 bracket at Oskaloosa.

Fedler joins Cole Henry, Rian Yates and Xavier Foster from Oskaloosa, Austin Simpson and Tristan Waugh from Fairfield, and South Tama’s Keith Keahna on the team. Oskaloosa’s Ryan Parker was named the substate Coach of the Year.

Fedler averaged 14.5 points per game on the year’s 7-14 Hound campaign.
